I temporarily replaced the 27es with a Visio 32 and have no problems for two days now, so its clearly the monitor that is the issue.

The monitor was purchased on 82017, which makes it only 1 year and 5 days old as of today (82518).

However, please install the monitor drivers via this HP link.

Once the drivers are installed then you may restart the computer and connect the HP monitor and check.

If your computer is already set to this resolution then try to lower the resolution on your computer and check if that helps.
